Booking & prices

How requesting and matching work, and what things cost.

Describe the job once. We match you with the right pro for your trade and area, and the scope and price are agreed in writing before work begins. Licensed trades — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, low-voltage — are matched only to pros who provide their Georgia license information.

Requesting is free. Scope and price are agreed in writing before work begins, so there are no surprise line items. If your market is not open yet, you join the waitlist instead — also free.

One 20% service fee on completed, paid jobs. No lead fees, no bidding wars, no monthly subscription. If the job does not complete and get paid, there is no fee.

Speed & urgency

Faster windows, the urgency fee, and what happens if nobody can take the job.

When you book, you can pick the normal schedule at no extra charge, or a faster window for a flat urgency fee — from $150 for service within 1 week up to $500 for within 1 hour. The fee is a named line in your all-in price from the first screen, never added later. A speed option only appears where a verified pro is actually available within 25 miles of your job; where nobody is available at that speed, the option stays locked and the normal schedule is offered instead.

Only when a named pro accepts your specific job and window. Until a pro accepts, nothing is charged — and if no pro accepts in time, you are not charged anything at all. We tell you honestly rather than quietly booking you at a slower speed.

Then there is no charge of any kind — no urgency fee, no booking fee, no deposit. Your request stays on file and we show you your options, including the normal schedule.

No-shows & cancellations

Missed jobs and cancelled jobs, on either side.

You choose: we send the next nearest pro at the same speed with no new fee, or we refund everything — deposit, booking fee, and urgency fee. A pro is never paid for a job they did not show up to.

Before dispatch, everything you paid comes back in full. After dispatch but before work begins, your deposit first covers the card processing fee that cannot be refunded, and the rest is split 80% to the pro for the trip and 20% to Coastal Repair Squad LLC; everything beyond the deposit is refunded in full. Jobs booked at a speed tier always carry that deposit, and the pro’s share is topped up to a $50 minimum from the forfeited urgency fee.

Your pro checks in at the site, takes a timestamped photo of the locked or unattended site, logs their attempts to reach you inside the platform, and waits — 15 minutes on rush speeds, 30 minutes otherwise. If you still can’t be reached, the job is recorded as a customer no-show once confirmed: the deposit split above pays the pro for the trip, the urgency fee is not refunded, and any hold on your card for the balance is released. Two no-shows make future bookings prepay-only.

During the job

Once your job is booked and your pro is on the way.

Your pro reaches you through Coastal Repair Squad LLC. Your address and phone number stay private until a pro accepts your job — then your pro sees the address, and you see who is coming. Platform messages may be reviewed by us for safety and to enforce the rules. Please keep the job on the platform: booking off-platform loses your payment protection, warranty, and make-it-right coverage.

As soon as a pro accepts your job: their first name, photo, trades, and verification badges — background check, license, insurance, signed agreement, verified phone — appear on the job in your account, before they arrive.

Pros, areas & reviews

Who the pros are, where we serve, and how reviews work.

Pros apply with ID, insurance details, trade credentials, and background-check consent. For Georgia-licensed trades (electrical, plumbing, conditioned air, low voltage), we only match jobs to pros who provide their Georgia license number — state law allows no handyman exception for these trades. Larger projects over $2,500 go to licensed contractors.

Georgia is our first market. An area shows as bookable only while a verified pro covering it is accepting jobs in at least one trade — checked live, so areas open as pros come online. Every other state is waitlist-only for now: join the waitlist and we will let you know when your state opens. Our home base is Hinesville, Fort Stewart, Liberty County, and Richmond Hill, with dedicated PCS move support for military families.

Customers rate pros after completed jobs — tied to real bookings, never anonymous, and published whatever the stars. Trade credentials are badged on pro profiles once a pro completes verification.
